U.S. stock futures are higher Wednesday morning as investors await labor market data. Crude oil traded above $100 a barrel. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 27 points to 12,049.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index gained 3.6 points to 1,304.70. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 5.75 points to 2,317.25.
The blue-chip Dow index dropped 1.38% to close at 12,058 on Tuesday.
After the opening bell, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is scheduled to present a monetary policy report to the U.S. House Financial Services Committee. The Fed's Beige Book will be released at 2 p.m. ET.
Costco Wholesale (
COST) reported Q2 EPS of 79 cents, matching analysts expectations. Costco reported Q2 revenue of $20.88 million, versus the consensus of $20.54 billion. The wholesaler reported a 7% rise in its Q2 same-store sales.

U.S. stock futures are higher Tuesday morning as investors await economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 49 points to 12,263.00, while those for the S&P 500 index gained 6.10 points to 1,332.20. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 14.25 points to 2,365.00.
The U.S. stock market closed higher on Monday, driven by an upbeat personal income report. The Dow Industrials gained 0.79% and the S&P 500 rose 0.56%.
U.S. ISM manufacturing data for February and construction spending data for January will be released at 10 a.m. ET. Auto sales data for February will also be released on Tuesday.

U.S. stock futures are higher Friday morning as crude oil prices stabilized. Futures for the
Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 55 points to 12,092.00, while those for the S&P 500 index climbed 7 points to 1,309.70. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index rose 15.50 points to 2,323.75.
U.S. stock market closed mixed yesterday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 37.28 points, the Nasdaq Composite gaining 14.91 points and the S&P 500 declining 1.30 points.

U.S. stock futures are lower this morning as unrest continues in the major oil-producing state of Libya. Futures for the
Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 100 points to 12,275.00, while those for the S&P 500 index dropped 16.6 points to 1,325.60. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 declined 36 points to 2,359.00.
U.S. stocks closed higher on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average gaining 0.59% the Nasdaq 100 index rising 0.08% and S&P 500 index gaining 0.19%. U.S. markets were closed on Monday for the Presidents' Day holiday.
Data on Case-Shiller
home prices for February will be released at 9 a.m. ET. However, the February Conference Board consumer-confidence survey will be released at 10 a.m. ET.

U.S. stock futures are slightly lower this morning, ahead of the two-day Group of 20 meeting in Paris. The People's Bank of China lifted its reserve requirement ratio for banks by 50 basis points. Futures for the
Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 6 points to 12,282.00, while those for the S&P 500 index fell 0.40 point to 1,337. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index fell 3.75 points to 2,390.
Negative sentiment ruled the European markets today. While STOXX Europe 600 Index has dropped 0.05%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.46%.
Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average gaining 0.06%, and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.93%.
